Is Penis Size Related to Height

One of the oldest myths about the penis size is that there is a link between height and penis length. While the size and shape of women's breast can be the very least guessed without the need of undressing, the penis length is hard to be sized up without direct observation. Therefore, different myths have sprung up claiming that penis size can be guessed from some parts of the body that are visible, such as size of the nose, ears, feet, and etc.

Those myths have been refuted by a number of studies, such as the one conducted on 104 men in 2002 and published by the British Journal of Urology International. The study included men with feet sizes ranging from 8 to 13 and proved that there is no correlation between the penis length and the size of the male foot. Penis size, in contrast to bones and muscles, simply does not follow the rule that it has to match the overall body height. In a way, there is truth about the myths relating nose and ears with penis size since just like them the penis is not influenced by body height.

There is a fraction of truth in the myth about hands and feet too. Actually, while the embryo is inside the womb, the development of the penis is being controlled by the very same genes that control the limbs. Still, there is no direct correlation between the penis size and the limbs since a great number of genes and hormones control the body overall development during childhood and puberty and in reality it is very unlikely that two different body parts would be controlled by the same hormonal effect.

So does height have anything to do with penis size?

No, tall men do not necessarily have bigger penises than short men and vice versa. In 2001 another study was carried analyzing the relationship between penis size and body size and once again found that although tall men and large feet were weakly correlated to bigger penises, the differences were not statistically significant. The study included 93 virile men (aging 27-60 years).

So myths about the link between penis size and different body parts will always crop up here and there but that's what scientists are for - to do them justice or prove them wrong once and for all.
