Most men just can't help it and want to find out how they measure up on average to everyone else. However often they fail to measure their penis properly and end up with some numbers that seem either too small for them or unrealistically big. Here is how you can correctly measure your penis.

How to Measure Your Flaccid Penis Length

Have in mind that many factors can influence the flaccid length of your penis, for instance temperature. This means you may get different results depending on the particular circumstances.

In order to measure accurately your flaccid penis length you should measure from the side of your penis. In a standing position extend your flaccid penis (do not stretch it) in front of you parallel with the floor. Keep the ruler parallel with the floor and next to your penis and then you can write down the size of your flaccid penis you just measured correctly.

Measuring Your Erect Penis Length

First, make sure that you have a full erection. Place the ruler next to your penis slightly pressing it against your pubic bone with one hand while holding your penis with your other hand. Measure to the nearest millimeter.

How to Measure Your Flaccid Penis Girth

Your penis girth can be measured differently depending on exactly which part of the penis you measure. Usually the measurement is done at the centre of the penis shaft.

Hold your flaccid penis and wrap a tape measure around it. Be careful not to pull the tape measure too hard, but to a reasonable level.

Measuring Your Erect Penis Girth

Again, make sure that you have a full erection. Hold your erect penis out in front of you and wrap a tape measure around it near the centre of the penis shaft.  As before, make sure you are not pulling the tape measure too tight.
