Penis hygiene is almost mandatory if you want to have a good sex life. Probably the greatest turn-off for women is when a man takes off his pants and reveals an unclean penis. And you can be sure that even if she agrees to have sex with, you are just not getting any oral sex. So if you want a satisfying sex life you just need to learn how to keep your penis clean.

Hygiene of an Uncircumcised Penis

For the uncircumcised men the place to start their penis cleaning is the tip of the penis. Since the foreskin covers your glans, there is planty of space between the head of your penis and the skin where unpleasant things can accumulate, including bacteria. If you don't clean that space well you will find that a white substance, called smegma, gathers there. The smegma consists of skin oils, dead cells and moisture.

In order to clean this area properly you need to pull the foreskin back as far as possible and carefully wash both the glans and the inside part of the foreskin (the one that is normally not exposed) with lukewarm water.

Advantage of the Circumcision in the Penis Hygiene

Men who are circumcised have the advantage that no bacteria and dead cells can accumulate under their foreskin just because they lack such.

However, they should be just as careful when cleaning their penis glans since it no longer has protection against dust, sweat and other various substances and fabrics. Some doctors even claim that a circumcised penis is more susceptible to infections of the urinary tract caused by bacteria. Therefore being circumcised doesn't mean that you don't have to take the proper care of your penis hygiene.

Hygiene of the Penis Base

The base of your penis is a place where the combination of hair and sweat produces a strong smell, similarly to your armpit. In order to avoid repelling your lady you need to wash carefully and frequently this area. Additionally, you could also shave or clip down the hair during the summer to reduce sweating.

Hygiene of the Testicles

Your testicles are even more prone to unpleasant smell than your penis base since sweat accumulates in the folds of your skin and also in the area between the penis and the testicles. Therefore wash carefully each testicle and don't forget to wash the perineum too (the area between your testicles and the anus) - it is also prone to unpleasant smell.
