Effects of Alcohol and Smoking on Erection

For many it is hard to imagine a good party without alcohol and tobacco. Actually, the very idea of a night out with the boys or a party with friends in the small hours of the morning is tightly linked with alcohol consumption and smoking.

However drinking a whole bottle of hard liquor is the surest way to make your erection impossible. Actually, if you are young you can probably pour a lot of alcohol down your throat without harming your bedroom performance much. Have in mind though, that heavy drinking will bring you impotence sooner or later.

Smoking is another hindrance to your sex life. Though you will be able to get an erection you will just lack the stamina since your heart and lungs will not be able to deal with the increased effort. It will not take much time to find yourself forced into taking the more passive role since you will lack the strength for the active one.

Smoking does not only hamper your sexual experience, it is also a serious threat to your fertility. A number of studies have shown that about 40% of all smokers are impotent.

To conclude, neither smoking, nor drinking will do any good to your sex life.
